Whether at home or at the office, community is about connecting with one another, and having fun!

Every month, our social committee meets to dream up the latest form of fun for the team, aiming to bring us all together once a month to enjoy time and activities outside of work. Good times make for good relationships – and our internal team needs to be happy and strong to help build the fabulous communities we dedicate our working lives to.

Second Annual Townline Classic

Our team enjoyed beautiful summer weather at Mylora Golf Course, with both experienced golfers and first-timers wielding their clubs with aplomb. Prizes for longest drive and proximity to the pin were followed by burgers and drinks at the clubhouse. All agreed the event was a hole in one!

Townline Summer Party

There’s no better way to spend a summer afternoon than paddleboarding, kayaking, and lunch at the Jericho Beach Galley Patio and Grill. With lessons for those who wanted them, double kayaks for deep-water team building, and a few dunks along the way, you could say the day went swimmingly.

Victoria Lawn Bowling

While the Vancouver team was on the beach, our Victoria staff headed out to the lawns for an afternoon in their finest white attire, bowling for bragging rights!

Family Fun Day at Playland

With unlimited rides, a BBQ lunch, and plenty of laughs, our day at Playland was a great opportunity to gather and connect our work family with our team’s families at home.

Site Appreciation Lunches

Our active construction sites deserve to be celebrated! Food trucks are brought to the sites with staff from head office joining in to recognize major milestones and celebrate our construction teams’ hard work. This year we’ve held appreciation lunches at The Holland, Hudson House, and Forester, and we look forward to many more to come!
