Diversified Builds to Support a Dynamic Community

Townline’s Coquitlam Developments

At the heart of Townline business is our enduring raison d’être – enriching the cities we build in.

As the municipality of Coquitlam sees a boost in population and a new rapid transit artery making the Lower Mainland infinitely more accessible, the demand for diversified living solutions grows as well. Heeding the call of residents and local governments for continued development in key neighbourhoods, Townline has taken up the mantle of creating innovative developments that address all housing needs.

From offering high-rise condo living in West Coquitlam, to the creation of townhomes in greenfield areas like Burke Mountain, and diversifying leasing opportunities with purpose-built rentals, we endeavour to create solutions for all people. These initiatives, paired with our sister company, TL Housing Solutions’ delivery of non-market housing, is helping to shape the future of this booming community.

BAND

Built with an eye for providing higher-density living options near transit, retail and recreation, BAND offers 384 stunning contemporary homes in a 45-storey tower that is redefining the skyline of West Coquitlam. Combining sharp geometric influences with dramatic colour juxtapositions, living spaces become functional works of art. At BAND, you’ll find a diverse range of home types, including the rare lock-off suite, offering flexibility and convenience in your living space. Featuring over 27,000 square feet of amenities including an outdoor pool, fitness centre, lounge, and games room, BAND has it all. Intentional design practices mean that every “what” was paired with a “why” to create a truly seamless living experience.

Meridian

The community of Burquitlam is predicted to be among the neighbourhoods with the greatest population surge in the next decade. Rising to meet the upcoming demand in the rental market, we are proud to share our latest undertaking, a 37-storey collection of studio to three-bedroom purpose-built rental homes. We call it Meridian.

Mere steps from the Burquitlam SkyTrain Station, daily commutes and urban exploration become infinitely accessible. Rich in amenities, this project is earmarked for completion in 2024. We are eager to share this unique rental offering with the community.

Forester

Phase one and two of Forester were created with the intent to provide spaces that celebrate the best that Burke Mountain has to offer. From the functional and dynamic townhome design to the unfettered access to nature, Forester fills a different pocket of market need. Set against beautiful Burke Mountain trails and forests, this Whistler-inspired community offers the privacy of your own home, complemented by the community feel of Forester’s Canopy Club – 9000 sq. ft. of private amenities and an outdoor pool that you and your family can enjoy year round.

Terrayne

Building on the tremendous success of the Forester community, Townline presents Terrayne, an all-new family-oriented townhouse development now selling on Burke Mountain. Close to all shopping, schools and recreation on the hillside, Terrayne, your 2-acre backyard, prioritizes interaction with nature, community safety and walkability. With underground parking, a 4,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and a network of social spaces and amenities, Terrayne is Townline’s answer to the question of “how can Coquitlam support young families?”

This dedication to building vibrant communities also inspired us to help fund a new playground at the neighbouring Smiling Creek Elementary School.

At Terrayne, buyers can enjoy the wonders of nature and the conveniences of an urban community. Register to learn more at Terrayne’s website.

TL Housing Solutions

Supporting those in need is one of the many reasons we do what we do. In order to make the greatest impact, we created our sister company, TL Housing Solutions, over 15 years ago – to ensure everyone has access to housing, no matter what their financial situation may be. In Coquitlam alone, we’ve worked alongside partners like BC Housing, CMHC, The United Church of Canada, and the City of Coquitlam to deliver two affordable rental complexes to help curb the housing crisis.

Hoy Creek Housing Cooperative

Meeting the urgent need for varied tenure co-operative housing options, the Community Land Trust Foundation of BC partnered with TL Housing Solutions (TLHS) to develop Hoy Creek, with a goal of providing 400 non-market homes in the Coquitlam City Centre. From shelter rates to low-and-moderate income individuals, Hoy Creek provides funding and grants from all levels of government to its residents.

Como Lake

In partnership with The United Church of Canada and BC Housing, TLHS and Atcorr Development Consulting delivered 75 rental units and the new Como Lake United Church, clocking in at 7,773 square feet, last year. TLHS stepped in to realize The United Church’s goal and vision after previous contractors were unable to complete the project. These residences feature accessible and adaptable units, meeting the need for more diverse rental options for mobility impaired renters.
